Canned Carrots Anyone?

Greener Pastures

These mountain goats have learned to grow their own food. But, when they don't get enough to eat, they have to rely on extra scraps in the wind.

This is based on a similar concept from an earlier post, and is also a take on Illustration Friday's theme of "enough."

Bamboo Birds

Their legs may seem spindly, but don't worry about them. They're stronger than they look.

I wanted to try a slightly different style this week, so I went for a more painterly effect. I may have gone a bit overboard with the drips and splatters, but that's okay. It was fun.

A Sour Treat

We have a lemon tree in our backyard. Every once in a while, a squirrel will snack on an entire lemon rind but leave the fleshy part behind. I guess it's just too sour.
