A Baby for Sara

Sara had diligently delivered babies for years until one of her own arrived.  It was quite a confusing moment for her.

This is my take on this week's Illustration Friday theme of "baby."

Diamond's Worries

Diamond is a timid mouse who's constant worries overwhelm her.  She should really learn to chill out every once in a while.

This is Topo the giant sea turtle.  I want to eventually add some plants and wildlife for scale, but here it is so far.

Kitsune

This week, I stumbled upon folklore about Kitsune, a spirit fox who grows a new tail every thousand years.

I've been wanting to experiment with different styles of art, so I attempted to make this look folklore-ish, whatever that means.

Lunchtime

I know I'm a little late, but I wanted to do something to celebrate this year's Earth Day.

This bison/yak/whatever is doing his part to consume fewer resources.  You have to give him credit for at least trying.

Best Friends

So... this is the first week that I didn't find time to draw something new. Instead, here's something I drew shortly before I started my blog. It was inspired by the then-current theme of "Best Friends" on Threadless.

I figure every kid wanted their own dragon at some point. At least in the Harry Potter generation anyway.

Last Night

A few months ago I submitted my first Threadless design.  I've been wanting to make another one recently, so this week I decided to work on a blog entry/t-shirt design in tandem.

These sheep are inspired by Threadless' most recent theme of "Last Night."  I might clean them up a bit before I submit it, but here they are as of today.
